Assessing the Agnostic Conceptual Commitment to God

Abstract

The agnostics believe that disputes about the existence of God will not end and this debate should be ended openly. It is neither possible to confirm that God exists nor to deny his existence. One of the important backgrounds for explaining and evaluating such an attitude of knowledge is their concept and idea of God. Agnosticism, along with theism and atheism, has an epistemological dignity, therefore, all three approaches must have a single concept and idea of God, which helps the agnostic in explaining his idea of God and correcting it. An atheist must have a correct and comprehensive idea of God and consider it valid for his epistemological parties as well. Also, in his eyes, God should be a consistent and coherent concept and his existence should be possible. Of course, a person can also lose the right idea of God, which is provided through the loss of the validity of the religious language, which is one step behind the so-called agnosticism. The agnostic can have sufficient reasons for each of these imaginary commitments or take them as thematic principles or presuppositions

یعتقد اللاأدریون أن المناقشات حول وجود الله لن تنتهی ویجب إنهائها. لا یمکن، من ناحیة معرفیة، تأکید وجود الله ولا یمکن إنکار وجوده. أحد المقدمات الهامة لتوضیح وتقییم هذا النهج المعرفی هو مفهوم الله لدیهم والتصور الذی یحملونه عن الله. اللاأدریة تجد مکانة معرفیة بجانب الإیمان بالله والإلحاد، لذا یجب أن تکون جمیع هذه النهوج الثلاثة متعلقة بمفهوم وتصور واحد عن الله، وهذا یساعد اللاأدری على توضیح وتعدیل تصوره عن الله. یجب أن یکون لدى اللاأدری تصور صحیح وشامل عن الله ویعتبره جاریًا على جمیع الأطراف المعرفیة. بالإضافة إلى ذلک، یجب أن یکون الله، فی نظره، مفهومًا متناسقًا ومنسجمًا ووجوده ممکنًا. بطبیعة الحال، یمکن للفرد أن یشکک أیضًا فی امتلاک تصور صحیح عن الله، وهذا یتم من خلال التشکیک فی مصداقیة اللغة الدینیة، مما یمثل خطوة إلى الوراء عن اللاأدریة المعتادة. یمکن أن یکون لدى اللاأدری أسباب کافیة لکل من هذه الالتزامات التصوریة، أو یمکن أن یأخذها کمسلمات أو افتراضات
