Heavenly transmigration is transfer of human soul from worldly body to other-worldly one which is to be brought about in proportion to the virtues or vices he has obtained during his earthly life. Two fundamental problems arise in discussing heavenly transmigration. One is related to how human soul transmigrates from earthly body to heavenly one, i.e. the quality of its occurrence. The second problem deals with the way, as it were, target body is to be generated. As to the former question it should be maintained that the transmigration is possible through substantial transformation of human soul in its imaginal level rather than its separation from earthly body and joining otherworldly body. There are some rational principles in support of this view including the principality of being, gradation of its nature, substantial movement and the idea that perception forms are originated from rather than imprinted on human soul as result of which imaginal body is not to be externally created but is generated by soul itself and thus there is no transfer in the literal sense of the term but it is same body with which it has lived and now is transformed as result of its conduct. As to the second problem, one can explain by using such principles as immateriality of soul in level of imagination, its capacity to make forms and bodies, unity of intellect and intelligible and possibility of soul journey in three realms of being.
Based on the principle of unity of intellect and intelligible all human attainments in this world are united with his soul and determine his divine or satanic existence
